Austrálsky Go Kongres 15.01.2016 - 19.01.2016

To whom it may concern,

I am writing on behalf of the Australian Baduk(Go, Weich) Congress organizing committee to advise you that we are holding the 2nd congress in January 2016.

The purpose of this letter is to invite expressions of interest as there are only a finite number of places available for international competitors. We ask you to please circulate this message as widely as possible amongst your membership to help us attract a strong and diverse competition.

There is an early bird rate for those who book and pay prior to November 15th 2015 and it would greatly facilitate organization if participants could make their bookings and payments as early as possible. Thank you for your consideration and assistance.

In brief, The Australian Baduk(Go, Weich) Congress will be held between January 15th and 19th 2016 at Novotel Sydney Parramatta. The tournament entry fee is AU$200(A$100 is US$ 73 as of 30 July 2015).

There is a substantial prize pool for the winners of different divisions and competitions to be held over the 4 days, in 7 rounds. Estimated Cost: A$ 200 for tournament participation(early bird A$ 140, thecost of A$ 690 will apply for accommodation at the hotel, breakfast, lunch and drinks will be included(from the afternoon of the 14th to the evening of the 19th)

Apart from the Go, Sydney and Australia are two of the world’s best tourism destinations. The Congress will provide free tour and guides to the participants.

I hope that those of you who have always wanted to visit Australia but have never had a good enough excuse will take the opportunity to join us for what will be an outstanding event. I look forward to seeing you in Sydney!

l  Hotel is located in the Parramatta Business district and Cafe Streets.
